Was there a price increase recently?

Purchased a set of 215/55/R17 PS3 from Soh last December, slightly less than S$1K for all corners.

Surprisingly comfy and quieter than I expected, pretty good all rounder.

Was deciding between C1S, GR90 and PS3.

Recently all tires increase due to rubber shortage in the world. I dont mind abt $160 ea as what was quoted last time for PP2 but now PS3 so much more ex. [bigcry]

I guess I wil hv to start checking the prices in JB n see how.

Philippines made Yokohama AA01 : $95

Thai made Falken ZE912 : $95

Japan made Toyo Proxes and Yokohama dNA DB ES501 : $105

Thai made Michelin XM1 : $130

You are just paying for the brand for Michelin.

I do not see how a mid range japan made Dunlop Sport SP300 performs no better than the Thai made michelin XM1 which s bottom of the Michelin range.

Wow, Michelin price is getting ridiculous. Damn french!

Ty only good for farking n kissing. [furious]

Thats why I didnt get Michelins now. I still with Yokohama ADrives(Made in Phillipines) but might consider their SDrives(made in Japan) next time but cost more.

Yep, I am looking at changing tyres soon. Was considering between Yokohama and Michelin. Think will go for Yokohama.

I heard the A drive is noisy. Is it true?

Er....My ADrives not really noisy unless road surface is rough. But I am a little deaf sometimes. :D

Yesterday my fren show me his Dunlop SP3000 Sport(made in Japan) size 195/65/15 he pay only $90 each. Seems like very cheap leh. Bought fm shop in Serangoon.

Fr my 16" sud b abt $110 ea. Cheaper than the ADrives which I chk was $135 ea for 205/45/16.

I might consider next time.

Another bro here also recommended Dunlop SP300. Maybe will take a look at it. I am also looking for 195/65/15. It's really cheap for a Made In Japan tyre.

Thanks.
