Turbocharged

As an ex-fitness trainer, I am happy that people today is more aware of the ill-effects of obesity.

 

Remember that it was a blessing that many of us came to this world in a good shape. When we die and go back, I think we should also try to go back in a good shape.

 

It is not difficult to keep one in a good shape. You just have to make exercise and fitness training as part of your life, just like eating meals, taking shower and going to toilet.

 

I always tell people, that assuming you are awake 16 hours a day (and sleep 8 hours), then 30 minutes of exercise 3 times a week is only 1% of your weekly awake hours. Surely anyone can spend 1% of their weeky awake hours to exercise and keep themselves fit.

 

For myself, I have been doing fitness training for 20 eyars now, and today, I am still in and out of gyms 2-3 times a week. When I travel and I couldn't find a gym, I will do my training in the hotel room utilising home gym exercises. There are no excuses.

 

The wonderful thing about fitness training is that once you start doing it, you start to feel really good about yourself. Your energy level starts to go up, you start to look great and that motivates you to continue pushing more.

 

So get started if you are fat or obese.

recently i have been to a clinic in the east side and taking medicine from the clinic to slim down. this programme doesnt require me to go on a special diet except to take the pills before food every day. i can eat any food except caborhydrate like rice and noodle. after 3 months i have lost 6.5 kg and now looking fitter than ever. had to change all my working clothes and no looking back. now another 3 more months to go until the weight stabilise then stop. anyone interested in losing weight pls pm me i bring you go. :)

Sorry but anything that requires pills is a big no no...

 

How do we know what is the long-term effect?

 

But we do is just eating natural food and cut out processed food...

pmed you le, bro. in all seriousness, it works for me and my two friends who joined before me. one of them the weight loss is drastic, totally transform into a fit young man. but the other a gal her weight tend to yo yo after the program stop. each month's medicine cost $150. the only thing is the clinic is too far for me, near east coast food center.

No prob bro. Distance not a issue... Once a mth should be ok. Meds can claim from company. Haha. But got any side effects?

Bro, one day just need 1 hr to jog or brisk walk. Control yr diet on less carbo more meat. I lost 21kg in 10 mths.

 

Yup bro, cutting carbs is the key...

 

Sugar is also another big no no...

 

And what if I told you that I achieved your sort of weight loss in 1/2 the time you took - ate as much as I wanted (proper food) - and with very minimal exercising? hahah

one thing helps though. Sell your car. Ever since I started walking 1+km to MRT everyday I feel slightly fitter :)

That is actually an eating disorder, got to see psychiatrist.

 

No one gets fat on thin air alone. You must eat to get fat. If you know that you get fat by eating X amount, then you should just cut down, or switch diet. Exercise is for those who wants to eat and yet not become fat.

 

So, yes I discriminate against fat people, esp very fat people. It shows lack of self-awareness and self-discipline.

 

I think the concept about calories in and calories out is outdated...

 

I can attest that a fat person does not always eat more than a normal person...

 

And no diet is going to be work, much less be sustainable, if it entices starvation...

I think the reason you lost weight is due to the cut in carbo especially the refine carbo, i.e noodles, rather than the pills.

now u can feel great about. but you dunno about any side effects 5 yrs and longer in future.

 

pills are dangerous........ its unnatural.

i'm very disgusted by fat ppl who still eat junk food or other unhealthy food.

 

like in fast food rest, i sit there and can see obviously obese/fat ppl chomping down the fast food.... it gets me thinking that these fat ppl have no responsibility towards themselves and family. Oh hell, the fast food seat cannot even keep the big fat backside steady!

 

you know that you are fat, and looked very different from the general population. you jolly well do something about it.

 

Overweight comes with alot of health problems later and your family is gonna to suffer the medical $$ for you. if your family is the top 10% percent of high income earners in Holland Road, so be it.

 

If yr family is just a working class type in low and middle income group, you better make sure you are fit and healthy. dont let yr family suffer coz of yr ignorance and laziness.

 

Its so disgusting to see these obese ppl........
