Windwaver Turbocharged March 5, 2011 Share March 5, 2011 No 'real males' in S'pore? Haha.. do u carry handbag for your gf/wife? I don't, except sometimes for my mother cos she is old. I do and let me tell you something. I had the chance to travel in the region due to work and girls in other regions think Singapore men are very thoughtful because they take care of the family and carrying bags is one of those tasks ↡ Advertisement

Fresh Clutched March 5, 2011 Share March 5, 2011 After so many years of being together, sex is not the main importance in our relationship, it's communication, I cook, she cleans and so do the kids.....sometime. We go shopping together and do almost everything together, we don't celebrate anniversays, birthdays, to us, just having a good day is good enough. She helps me spot when I lift and train in the gym, I help her when she's tired, my wife is much smaller then me, sometimes, I'll even piggy back her, when she's really shacked out. Nothing to be shy about, if I don't take care of my wife, vice versa, who else will, no one. :) I can identify with that.

Nutsack Clutched March 5, 2011 Share March 5, 2011 I carry my wife's bag when she goes to the loo. Also when she goes into the changing room to try on clothes. Lately she injured her arm, and I carry her bag for her when it's too heavy (cos my iPad's in there). How like that? Am I a wimp? But I love her. And I care. And she never force me to carry. How like that?
Damienic 5th Gear March 5, 2011 Share March 5, 2011 (edited) I carry my wife's bag when she goes to the loo. Also when she goes into the changing room to try on clothes. Lately she injured her arm, and I carry her bag for her when it's too heavy (cos my iPad's in there). How like that? Am I a wimp? But I love her. And I care. And she never force me to carry. How like that? I think most of us recognises that its ok for the guy to carry the bag when gf/wife goes loo or changing room to try on clothes. I believe those that took issue with this are referring to guys that walks in town most of the time with his gf/wife's handbag in his hands and shoulder and did that becos he thinks its a demonstration of love or did it becos the gf/wife have the mentality that only guys that loves them would do this for them and those that refuses to carry are chauvinist...there is a difference between guys that do this habitually vs those that do it out of necessity or in specific situations such as those that your described above.. Mazdaowner Moderator March 5, 2011 Share March 5, 2011 I got a new one for you, was at Funn today, saw one "guy" with a girl, behind wfe and me, on the escalator, going down, he was caring a bag, I was talking to my wife about the bag issue, she turned and told me, the "guy" was not carrying the girls bag, but it was HIS bag! Female handbag ok! Girl had her own bag. Ku niang sial, plus saw a load of "pretty" boys, WTF!! No, I didn't feel sick, puke, etc.... Wanted to give each a bloody good kick!
