Eyesight and TPMS are 2 totally different things. The latter can be as low as as low as SGD100+. And based on the options price in other markets, no way Eyesight itself is worth 10K more.

No one expecting MI to absorb anything, at least not from me. They state a price for a car with "X" specs and I decide if I think its worth paying for. Either Yes or No.

Where to get TPMS?

My poison after getting car:

(1) PPS

(2) tint (claim $50 back from MI)

(3) Thinkware F750 2 ch

(4) TPMS

Who wanna join group buy?

You wanna a off the market "Eyesight".. Can try getting ThinkwAre f750 or X500. Comes with Speed Cam/Traffic Cam alert system, Front Vehicle Crash Detection, Lane Departure Alert, Front Vehicle movement Detection..& 2channels. All for $658

I got this. In the end turn off the lane departure and front vehical alert cos damn noisy. Only left the speed/red light cam alert on.

Does MI offer this? Otherwise if install outside, all warranty for electronics may be voided. I know they offer Blackvue but its just a basic camera system.

You rigged it to the battery power but not to the head unit. Think that does not hurt the warranty. But anyway got to check.

Check out the YouTube on Thinkware f750 and X500

Hi everyone here, I am looking at ob and when I search online, I can see many complaints on battery, wind or road noise, fc, and even infotainment system on us market. Could anyone share the ob has any issue in SG market? I am currently considering it, love it more and more, but worrying so much about the complaints, could anyone help clear my doubts, thanks a lot.

Any idea if tyre pressure monitor is a standard feature on the 2016 Outback?

Should be included.  Even the XV already has this as standard.

Subaru TPMS however does NOT show you the actual pressure.

It only just give you a warning symbol and beep when pressure is low but this is good enough - it warned me in my XV of small slow-leaking tire puncture before I knew it was there and the car still can move quite normally.

Hi I got mine in Jan '16, clocked about 3K+ km, no issue with batt or infotainment system yet.

road noise not as quiet as some luxury biased big sedans but i find louder due to big 18" tyres, these are not exactly quiet tyre models. but i find not so excessive especially i lower tyre pressure to 230/220.

FC by calculation around 11km/l 60% highway.

wife and kids love this ride especially the space and comfort.

the ob will not win any sprints to the next traffic light, set your expectation right and it will be a smooth enjoyable drive.

pm me if you interested to know what else i got togther with car...

Which forum have you been reading? Sounds like you found a Complaint thread [:p] .

Putting in <Drive> only for car to move backwards when you accelerate sounds like a damn dangerous thing to happen. Can even be fatal if there are pedestrians behind or if you are on edge of a hill :o[dizzy].

If that is true, it will be really dangerous. I am reading in car complaints website, see below for the link:

I just googled it, because there is very little information on OB in Singapore...
