That Tanjong Pagar one that has now closed was the best, nicest and best value for money I've ever tasted.

Maybe because too good value for money already until cannot make profit, that's why close down.

well... one man's meat is another's poison mah... if eveyone had the same taste for food, then our meal times will be longer than usual... [laugh]

i hate queues... only time if i end up in a long queue is if i'm buying watever for a loved one... ^_^

Me too hate queue.... nothing is sooooo nice that need to queue so long for it.... can eat other stuff..... the only queue I go is 4D and Toto queue.... then again, I usually buy early, not last min type... [laugh][:p]

Not really nice and bloody expensive.

I like the chinese nasi lemak at Bedok Reservoir Market hawker centre... for $2.10

红泥小厨 at bedok north or central (i think..) also one of my favorites.. always long queue..open around 11am, but they all sold out by 2pm.

that punggol nasi lemak.. tried since it was touted 'so nice'... and yes, paid $8 or $9 (i was like WTF?!) for so-so nasi lemak,. that was the first and last time i've eaten there. [:|]

Majority of the stores after making a name for themselves, sure jackup price de...

Hai~...miss the simple, cheap and nice food. Very hard to find.

Some of this hawker takes home even more $$ then PMETS and owns a couple of properties.

Punggol Nasi Lemak I still miss the taste at the old location, beside the long kang opposite hougang superbowl...that's like donkey years already. The current taste nothing really to boost about.

For traditional taste, I would visit north. Even some of my frens mummy homecook NL taste better than those popular stores. Not only NL, also for mee rebus with beef meat, mee soto etc...

Yesterday night went in eat cheese nan and tan doori chicken @ rosemerah in setiah indah...

mix with their sambal Shiok but not for the light hearted who can't take spiciness.

i prefer Johor Jaya side got more shiok food... the charsiew duck rice there fantastic just like the KL charsiew i tried before at this restaurant with a funny name...

setiah indah there got one mutton curry very shiok... meat no strong mutton smell one... served in claypot... [inlove]

(一流香) Yi Liu Xiang Nasi Lemak

Blk 105 Hougang Ave 1 #02-30

This is the Lorong Ah Soo Nasi Lemak.

Very basic dishes, not even chicken wing... yet there is always a long queue everytime I am there -.-.
