Cameron Highland to Ipoh.. which route should i take?

Hi brudders...

 

i have to choices.. can you guys advise which route is better?

 

A is shorter.. but its mainly winding road.

 

B is longer.. gg down the mountain and then proceed via highway. (but i think this route will kena toll)

Route A.

Its narrow and winding up till Blue Valley. Once you get to A 181, its wide with nice big bends. Can safely go >70km/h on most section.

 

Route B is narrow and winding ALL the way till almost Kampung Batu Lapan.

Route A, much shorter route but avoid the early morning vegie trucks rushing downhill

Driving MPV and other high CG vehicles carrying passengers prone to motion sickness -> Simpang Pulai

 

Driver's car, love waterfall -> Tapah, Ringlet.

Journey is as follow:

 

Singapore -> Cameron Highland (stay a night) -> Ipoh (stay 2nd night) -> SG.

 

So will will take the Tapah route up, and Simpang Pulai road down to Ipoh?

Yes, from NSH, exit Tapah.. You'll go through a narrow and winding road up to cameron highlands..

 

From cameron Highlands, take route A which is much much shorter and the roads aren't that narrow as compared to the route from tapah.. Route A is something like going down genting for me..
