Car door black coat around window

Dear fellow forumers,

 

Does anyone know if the black tape/coating around the windows at the car doors can be replaced?

 

I accidentally scraped and cause some scratches and some exposed the steel beneath.

 

My ride is an Avante.

2 methods:

 

1) Spray painting shop will use putty to seal the scratch and spray matt black paint over it.

 

2) Matt black stickers are available easily. There's a shop dealing with stickers and number plates in Paya Lebar. Either you DIY it or have them to do it for you.

 

Price-wise, if both are the about the same, I would go for the spray painting if I'm one who is not the DIY type. Hope it helps.

I think I will go for the sticker option because from how it looks like now, it looks like tape where there's overlap at the weld joints on the door.
