I like the Neo Satria alot cause I feel its nice. Unfortunatley, the car is lacking in power, no 4WD, just 1.6L NA engine. No Turbo.... sigh....

Why can't they just drop in a 2L Evo engine, make it 4WD with their Ohlins suspension and Green Lotus colour instead?

It will be really cool!!

Neutral Newbie

my friend has one of these.. its very zippy..not underpowered at all contrary to what was said. we call his car R/C car. like those tamiya ones.

after some modifications.. managed to churn out 131bhp.. quite good since the car is light.

what i dont like is the interior space. dont bother to bring 5 adults. its so cramp at the back.

Are you talking about the R3? It is slightly beefed up in terms of engine performance.

Not that 145Bhp NA R3 and I realised that I'm talking about this one:

http://paultan.org/2010/12/03/proton-satri...-200-hp-250-nm/

Proton is contemplating to use this one to participate in IRC rally. If this gets the go-ahead, expect a hot road-going model to follow to take on the VW Polo GTI and forthcoming new Ford Fiesta ST.

If proton satria neo got evo engine, 4wd, big turbo, it will cost about 150k? Don't think anyone with a right mind will pay 150k for a proton hatchback. If have i think will have many accidents on the road also.

Anyway I think the Satria Neo looks very good on the outside. Inside, never see before so not gonna comment anything. But surely it's 1.6L engine is enough to have loads of fun on the road.

Hoho... currently no I think. I bought the white manual one that was on sale last month. Then someone bought the black auto one and no more liao.

Its quite rare in SG cause its expensive (you can get a Jap car with that price) and its just a small hatch.

But modding potential....ahem ahem......And I think

its quite nice also.

How about dropping in an Evo Engine and 4WD + widebody sounds like.........
