Soran 1st Gear February 12, 2011 Share February 12, 2011 The Renault Alpine...now that is a beautiful car. Very 1980s Anyone agree that the 1980s were the golden years of the 2-door sports coupe? The Chevrolet Camaro SS, which was driven by the leader of the good guys in the MASK cartoon (i remember that being my all-time fav toy), the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am (Knight Rider anyone?) and the Lamborghini Countach (i have a big poster of this car on my wall)
Pocus Turbocharged February 12, 2011 Share February 12, 2011 toyota carina!! my dad's first saloon car.. remembered he drove it back for the first time.. we were all super excited... what fond memories... Those where the days right? Remember that DOHC was a big deal, 4 valve per cylinder is a big deal, EFI was a big deal... Now with TSi, VVTi and newer tech, all these fundamental technologies are taken for granted...

Oh, I'm the assistant designer of Wolfgang Egger, the Chief Designer of Audi.... I actually help in the design of the Audi R8... As if!! Along the way, I got more in PC games.....then I swayed to that direction and you guess ;) Edited February 12, 2011 by Pocus

Cause i noticed that the front-ends of your drawings are very similar. OMG bro you got a sharp eye!! I was really inspired by Ford...... but not the sierra.. My dad used to drive a Ford Laser that time, the 1991 KF chassis. So I was inspired by the Laser plus my love for the Swift GTi and 3door Civic VTi (don't even know was a EG) The KF laser was a solid workhorse.....so good my dad switched back to a KJ Ford Laser in 1997...which I was my first car I drove after I got my license! I don't even know the Sierra look like my design....COOL!!
Pocus Turbocharged February 12, 2011 Share February 12, 2011 ERP gantry actually TS, the car u drew was exist in real life.. it's call the Renault Alpine Yeah when I first saw his design it reminds me of the Alpine V310. This is a classic 70s car! A Rear Engine mount behind the rear axle..... I only get to know this baby when I played GT5!! Was learning how to master this car in the game... Pocus Turbocharged February 12, 2011 Share February 12, 2011 (edited) Sorry to flood this thread and stealing TS' limelight but all this talk on car design got me excited. I digged my sketchpads and found a more recent car design I did for fun. Done in 2007, I was actually looking at my car pics I did at 13yrs and thought "if my car made to production, how would the 2007 model looked like?" Armed by my slightly improved knowledge on cars then, I did the 2007 version....lol Size of a Swift Sport, the rear as a high lying glass panel tribute to the Honda CRX, didn't know then that honda re-adopt the design back to their FN2R and CR-Z. Headlamps are inspired by the Lamborghini Gallardo. The special feature of the car is a extendable windscreen so you can get a higher viewing space compare to normal cars.. This car will not pass LTA, NCAP and many countries due to it's overhanging rear spoiler... Edited February 12, 2011 by Pocus
Soya Supersonic February 13, 2011 Share February 13, 2011 omg...omg... the only piece of advice I can give you is MCF is not the place for you. Please go somewhere else to learn about cars, or drawing cars. if you stay here, nothing good will come of it, you will only pick up whining, lying.... haha....true. in addition to whining, lying oso can becum haolian, brand-nazi, goggle plagiariser, dr.death, ah pek, gay......truly dysfunctional.
