Planted Trees Fallen Again

Just came through SLE \ TPE from Tuas. Several trees and its branches have fallen and lying across lane 1 and lane2 near woodlands ave 12. Initially, near woodlands ave 12 entry, spotted a fallen tree and within couple of one km, have spotted more than 4 trees have fallen in that stretch. At this time, LANE 1 is completely unusable and some places, only lane 3 is operational. please exercise extra caution. Few jokers, spotted the empty lane 1 and went up to the fallen trees and want to merge into the other lanes, they think people are in the queue are really stupid.

Yes...taxi like to think peopl are stupid. When you prevent them to do short cut, they say you rude and selfish road user!

Same thing everyday on the road, the EMAS says lane one accident. Most people will try to keep to lane2 early. But you will see mostly taxi and beng cars, staying on lane1 enjoying the empty lane. Last minute will cut into lane2, thinking it's their god damm right!

Whether there is EMAS message or not, you notice some obstruction on the lane, the most decent appropriate activity is the try to filter into the next lane, not going up the point of obstruction and trying to filter.

When the whole chaos was happening, one delivery lorry jumped into lane 1 and he started driving upto the point and tried to filter in. I had in no mood to challenge him, best thing is to give way to all those stupids and reach home safely.

between the stretch of woodlands ave 12 and mandai easily 4-5 trees planted at the center divider down by the freak storm yesterday evening ..

damm bad weather.. visibility about >10m

yester driving along bukit timah road going towards to city.. the rain was so heavy to the extend tat front view very blur... so so so scare the tree will fall..
