Got a note on my windscreen this morning.

 

Blk 540 hougang ave 8 open space carpark

Suv Car - Sjl6868c

 

Believe to be a black hyundai santa fe as marks left are black.

 

 

Thanks to the kind someone that left behind the note for me.

No vehicle record can be found, according to onemotoring's website. There's some error in the vehicle no. Assuming SJL6868 is correct, the last alphabet should be S, and SJL6868S is a Mercedes Benz CLC180K.

It should be SJJ, not SJL.

this is the right car plate i believe to be since the note said it was a sux. as there is a make/model of the same description under the same block

What's the damage to your car? Hope not serious.

badly scratched headlight casing though not cracked, the main bulb broke... and the headlight alone will cost $1.4k to replace

bumper scratched. clips fall off.

on top of that, scratched heart and a burnt wallet.

i thought so too but at least i have got some leads to start with. wonder if the kind someone would leave another note

i thought so too so i went to search for sjj6868c and it came up to match the note left behind. im thinking its a mistake on the note

reported and filed a police report and 3rd party. having a look out for the car now to confirm its the one i have in mind.

 

there is nothing much i can do i suppose?

I also kena hit-&-run before so I understand how you feel.

 

Hope you can get the coward who did this to your ride & make him/her or his/her insurance pay every single cent you incur to fix it.
