Help about Galant VR-M

Hi, I need help regarding Galant VR-M

 

was looking parts from Galant VR-M to fit it to VR-4 but recently it's hard to find scrapped VR-M at SG and it's impossible for to find VR-M parts at Hongkong myself due to language barrier

 

I'm trying to get Black Leather electric seats equipped with airbags from VR-M, any1 know where's to find it ? tried sungai kadut and woodland already but no result

my old car from ages ago, you kana accident on the side is that why you need the side airbag replacement? yours is 200bhp or 280bhp.

If u are so desperate for the parts and u say can find in Hongkong, then just import one from Hongkong lar!! Then take the parts u want, and then sell the body to scrap yard.. So simple..

synopsis : I'm currently doing engine swap for my Galant (6A13 N/A SOHC 170 hp) and might as well upgrade some of rare interiors as well to make it looks better inside

 

Galant at Europe using same black leather electric seat and plug and play to all of galant including VR-4, the problem is it's from LHD car which may affect on driver's position seat. Don't want to take a risk I decide to find black leather electric seat from Galant VR-M since it's RHD just the same as mine and VR-4

 

I ain't living at singapore and here at my country is kinda illegal to import used cars. Even if I can bribe, the price will be around 2.5 - 3 times of price at Hongkong excluding shipping fee. FYI, price of 1998 - 2000 VR-M with black interior is around 11,000 - 12,000 at my place

 

I've tried contact several VR-M owner at my place but they don't want to sell their seat unless I throw an offer to buy entire cars which is out of my option and as I've explained before language barrier prevent me or I would have ended up in hongkong to buy those seats

 

as for Japan, since VR-M is only produced in hongkong, I doubt they have it especially when all they hear and known are just VR-4 and VR-G. Even most member at clubvr4 and ozvr4 never know that Galant has electric seats available at other galant models

 

I've obtained several rare parts from various galant such as complete MMCS system FL version, COTY Full Black Interior, Velvet Cover etc but still miss lot such as this seat and Rear-Trunk from Galant VR-G. But obviously it'll take lot of time to complete by the way it seems now

 

Well to put it in simpler way, this fanboy of galant want to make his galant looks better LOL

From Indonesia, but at the city is at Jakarta. Cities near MY and SG such as Medan and Batam has some VR-M imported from either MY or SG but as told before, no1 willing to sell unlesss it's offer for the entire car

 

Yes for the half-cuts and even second car but it'll be very costly for bribing and will cost an arm and leg if it's personal order request, not reseller that making money by selling these stuffs

 

but used car-parts is legal though, I dunno and I don't want to know either

Well I do have a suggestion. Probably not the cheapest but it should work. There are a whole bunch of half-cut importers in Australia who sell off the half-cuts they buy as parts. You may want to contact them.

I'll try but based on my experiences, they're only good place to find cars u want from Japan Market while the parts I'm looking for come from Hongkong models only, that's why I think SG and MY still has the best bet to find it

As I've told u, I'm flexible. Though it's much better if you can ship it directly to Jakarta, Indonesia but if it's too much hassle for u, my siblings at SG can do the payment via COD or transfer for that seat

 

if it;s possible, can u ask the owner whether the electric seat control is still working or not ?
