wat about crossover like nissan qashqai? 2.0 and yet not big like suv and not small like hatchback?

I'll advice those who are contemplating SUV/crossover etc to seriously consider why they are wanting it.

Cos it looks nice?

Are you willing to sacrifice some FC, performance, handling for bigger space? (some SUVs are less spacious than comparable sedan)

Crossovers are like taking the middle ground. You get some benefits of both, but you also inherit their disadvantages.

Some people like to compromise, some others are not able to.

Personally I find qashqai's interior too small, might as well get a sedan like camry for that price. But if you don't really need space, but just want a nice looking "suv", its a great sporty looking car.

Many people choose mpv/suv as a more "practical" choice if they need to ferry passengers and/or carry heavy loads. If have a choice, i think many guys would rather have a higher performance sedan at a comparable/lower price.

Don't get one then complain about FC, pickup, handling <_<

I totally agree that odc is a very reliable / comfortable and spacious car. I guess, my foot is just abit heavier .. that why high FC. Cos after my 2 yrs on my FD2 prior to odc, i just feel that the odc is really sluggish. actually felt regret giving up my FD2.

Mine give me around 7.4km/l on city

around 9.9km/l around highway and it just won't let me get 10km/l and above .. i thought i buy a FWD CR-V it will give me better fuel consumption but i am wrong ... haha..

prob can consider this.

got space, got power ( LOTS OF TORQUE)

economical ( diesel), cheap road tax, no need to worry abt flood

but looks ugly when stock :) need to get accessories

but i love mine :)

My consumption was abt the same as urs. Driving to work into town area is a nightmare and need to pump every 5-6days. Cruising on HSHW cannot even see above 10km/l either. Remind me of driving my previous nissan sunny N16, which is underpowered and super high FC. COE so high .. no money to change back to Civic liao.

Can drive to MY legally ?? Love the low end torque, economical to pump, but expensive to buy one, insur is a killer also.
