What if got accident and the other party reported you did not possess valid Driving Licence at that point in time of the accident?

 

Nothing will happen. The insurance company will just check if u are really not insured and no driving license. Happened to me before. The guy reported to his insurance saying that he only seen my IC because I did not carry my driving license with me.

Stolen car suspect. Do not let him leave the scene till the police arrive.

 

The other driver just need to copy down ur particulars. The insurance will be able to check. And if it is a stolen car I don't think the guy will run away already after getting into an accident. Don't think he will stop there to exchange particulars with you.

You are right !!!!

 

Me & wify were still discussing and recalling on the incident. If a lorry or bus happen to be passing by when our car suddenly zoom into its path......i cannot imagine what would happen. [knife] . Feel very piss off now.

 

I've already made a police report and the police say since wife had suffered wipslash with 5 days MC, the police report will trigger a TP investigation. They will sumon both drivers for interview. I going to farking complaint against him until gao-gao. He was wearing a ear piece during that time. Maybe he was talking on the phone. Plus his car was switching lanes as evident from my photos. That filter lane usually drivers will slow down on the approach with caution. How on earth he can ram so hard into my car i have no idea. I think he didnt slow down at all. Probably change lane at the last second and look to his right for traffic......assuming i will proceed and not stop. I still remember the traffic situation during that time. Even if i accelerate and go, the cars on the other road at most will just nice join in smoothly behind my car. i wont go for it bcos there are 2 elderly persons in my car. In any case there is no way that Vios can follow through behind me. Not at the rate the other road's cars are coming through. And after the incident he still drove onto the PIE towards Jurong without the front car plate. Didnt carrying his driving license at that point of time as well!!!! [mad]

 

Now my wife is still having neck and back pain...........CNY mood gone. Make baby mood also gone!!! And i got a dirty Toyota WISH 1.8ltr rent car as replacement. The CG so high, its giving me car sick when driving it. All bcos of this idiot driver!!!! ()&^$^#$&*()(&%#%&

 

My advice is see doctor for the whole family and make the claim. The fact that he bang you and your car moved a car length and almost cause more serious injury warrant a stiffer penalty for this moron.

Hope you are ok bro...and yes, whiplash typically takes a while to manifest. Go get a cervical X-ray done and observe wifey for any headache, pains, dizziness, etc.

all acidents best to call ambulance ah? i think in this case call police shld be enough alrdy?

 

my colleague tried calling the police.

they ask whether is it minor or any injuries.

if no injuries, they will not appear and ask you to settle yrself.

 

i told my colleague to call ambulance and complain not feeling well. shortly the ambulance/police arrived.

i know everyone will flame me for using these ambulance service.

what to do. if ambulance/police dont appear, there will be many twist of words (statment) when doing claim.

The driver is in his mid thirties. He was alone in his Vios.

 

As i recall. i didnt hear any E-brake from behind. I approach the filter lane already slowing down and saw at my one o-clock the traffic on the other road already begining to move. So step further brake to stop the car, then 1-thousand one 2-thousand-bang!!! I believe that Vios didnt even step on any brake at all. If his car e-brake or is also slowing down, it would at most bump lightly into my back. Not a Big BANG!!! i cant understand why he dont even have time to E-brake!!! OMG!!!

 

That filter lane i drive through almost everyday for the past 3-4 years. No reason for me to act in any irrational way, especially when my in-law are onboard. He on the other hand stays in bukit panjang and driving alone. i reckon he might be unfamilar with that filter road and drive more agreessive since he's alone.

 

My car just change both front & back suspension. Full 120km servicing package changing all oils(engine, auto-transmission, brake), even coolant i change. Checks done from top to bottom. All these done just 2-3 weeks back done by Harmony Ah Hua. 4 brand new GR-90 tyres manf date : Oct 2010 bot from Soh Bros. All receipts are still inside my car.

All the proper maintenance to make my car safer undone by an idiotic driver.

to be able to fly forward one car, must mean that person must be going at least 90. could even be 100. based on the damage also
