KARTer 2nd Gear February 4, 2011 Share February 4, 2011 (edited) ... that's the right question! Anyway, I think breadtalk's breads are overated. They taste just like most others, except they somehow brand themselve a bit atas and take liberties to overprice their products. The same sausage bun costs sixty-eighty cents at Swee Heng costs $1.00-$1.20 at Breadtalk.... just so they can call it by some weird name. As the saying goes "A rose by any other name smells as sweet". Quite agree with you on this..... they spend money making their shops look good (ie deco costs), pay high rents to secure locations in shopping malls, that's why besides artificially making their bread 'atas' by charging higher prices, they have to recover deco costs / rentals..... I would just eat bread from ordinary neighborhood shops than pay extra for 'atas' image and rental etc..... btw, I am quite 'kiam' when it comes to ordincary bread&butter food.... .... it's all about 'packaging' and 'feel good', but I dont need these to feed my stomach Edited February 4, 2011 by KARTer

Little_prince Supersonic February 4, 2011 Author Share February 4, 2011 You are just taking the liberal use of the sentence totally out of context. And you honestly don't seem to comprehend the meaning, besides your own misguided comprehension of it. How simple must one make it For you to understand? And you have the audacity to say it's stupid, and fill it up with all your so called understanding Ormandy it really means, when simply..... It means, "do to others and others will do back to you" sort of putting it this way. Don't read and shoot out without first understanding...you do have nothing to say, what's said does make sense, what you have said, doesn't. I'm no cyber hero. I walk the talk. why are you bothering with this cyberhero ? [laugh]

Best_ctzn Clutched February 17, 2011 Share February 17, 2011 Breadtalk finally succumbed to public pressure. Last week I saw the label of the bread changed to something like curry bread. A very uncreative name, maybe their way of letting you know they are not happy to change. ↡ Advertisement
