Butcher_hoe Neutral Newbie January 28, 2011 Share January 28, 2011 Guys, take note, at 0015hrs today, after clearing exit customs at MY side, drove off about 200m and did my usual check on the exit stamp. Realized that my touch and go card was missing, I am absolutely certain that the customs officer took it. Sharing my experience so that frequent travellers to JB can take note, do not keep valuables like IC, Cashcard, touch and go card etc in the card compartments that you have in your passport cover. These guys will just take about anything that has monetary value... Lost RM21, small amount, but pisses me off. ↡ Advertisement

Butcher_hoe Neutral Newbie January 28, 2011 Author Share January 28, 2011 The comments whether good or bad, contributive or not, are welcomed Common sense; should have done this should have done that; being an organized person, I keep my stuff where they belong. I had no intention to bribe them, I was exiting JB's customs towards Singapore, not entering JB from Singapore. Anyways, the objective of this thread is to share my experience so that other travellers with lesser common sense like me won't have to learn it by experiencing it. Albeniz Turbocharged January 28, 2011 Share January 28, 2011 I keep my touch n go card in the cash card compartment at the dash board area. I usually won't mix passport with other items to prevent any complications from arising.

Berncsp76 6th Gear January 28, 2011 Share January 28, 2011 probably the mat officer tot you giving him early CNY angbao. I usually leave the card on the speedometer area as there's a indent area there for me to put my additional items like pen, small cash amt etc. IMO you should be more alert and not leave it in the passport. But anyway thanks for the reminder. This should come in handy for JB rookies as we old birds already quite steady pom pi pi already.
