Why Most Smokers Always Flout Laws ?

This fella smoked in a non-smoking table of the coffee shop. The smoking corner is 10 tables down the row, so no excuse about not knowing. Plenty of empty tables around, so no excuse of no table. Simple plain lazy and bo chup. [whip][furious]

After smoking one stick, hands conveniently swing to the ground, cigarette butt dropped to floor, shoes stepped on butt to snub it out. Fantastic, skilfully done ... must be doing this all his life ... while it lasts ... [wave]

It was raining ... so as most people know ... smokers are weak when it's raining ... so out came another cigarette ... still in the non-smoking table of coffee shop [rifle]

NEA officers should hang around more often during raining days. Catch these buggers, fine them big time. Any NEA officers reading this, contact me. I'll take time and be prosecution witness. I will show you which table and coffeeshop so you can match the photo and the facts. [smash]

Then you should tell him if it bothers you. Not take his photo and post it on line.

Smoker being told not to smoke tends to get aggressive and physical.. But best is called NEA.

Sorry, to me u just a toothless tiger, typical Singaporean. He is in the wrong and u can actually remind him gently abt his misdemeanor.

Why bother to come here whining and posting his pic?

Again, typical Sporean, everything also need government to take action while whining and doing nothing abt it.

Lastly, pls dun take this personal, this is my general view of us, the typical highly educated "ball less" Sporean..

Even worst when they hide inside toilet stalls and smoke especially at those popular malls.

Outdoors can always siam and go somewhere else.

Inside aircon toilets how to siam?

I've encountered toilets where smoke were coming up to the lights at 3 out of 4 stalls.

Inconsiderate smokers. [rifle]

So what happens if he actually reminded the smoker but the smoker just don't care?

Report NEA? - cannot since you don't want to trouble the government.

What's the next course of action from someone with balls?

Punch the smoker in the face?

Geez dude, it's all about having the balls to do the right thing in situations where u need to execute a moral/legitimate decision.

What happens after is not that significant..

The point is that at the very least, u did try doing something to make good thge situation and if it turn out bad, that's it.. u did your best, bravo..

And i'm not talking abt fighting robbers here or criticising gangster.. just normal day to day misdemanor..

I just remind a guy last Sunday he is illegally parking his car (he is inside listening to some techno music) at my washing bay and nicely ask him to shift his car cos i need to wash my car and bikes.. he say paiseh and shift his car..

I understand your point - not disputing that.

I just want to make a point that the issue here is that there are rules and laws that make the place run smoothly so that people don't get into fist fights.

Just because you expect the govt to enforce the laws or if someone calls the NEA does not mean he has no balls.

The other point is you don't ask someone to judge if the smoker is a gangster.

He could very well be having a bad day and decide to get violent.

I have seen bottle fights break out under lesser circumstances.
