Weight loss or gain when stressed?

Just wondering, do you put on weight or lose weight in times of stress?

 

When I'm stressed, I don't eat much, don't sleep much.. but I end up putting on weight, annoying!

depends on what you do when you are stressed i guess. u dont eat much, but are you taking coffee or eating some small things to keep yourself awake?

 

personally i shrink visibly when im 'under stress' for about 2-3 weeks. working from mn till morn almost every other day on no food no drinks thru the nights.

As the bros mentioned, depends on what you do when you are stressed. Some people eat more when they are stressed, so they put on weight. Some others eat less (even a lot less) when they are stressed, so they get thinner. Some other people go for competitive sports when they are stressed.

If you don't eat anything when stress.....but drink three largest cups of Starbuck Iced mocha for breakfast lunch dinner......you will still get Fat!.

A normal person might need 2000calories each day.

But each largt cup of these specialities coffee can be 600-800 calories per cup!!

 

It depends....some stress go disco to dance every night...as good as someone who runs every evening!

But if u go disco just to drink alcoholic pops drinks...then the calories will pile on and gain weight.

 

So it dependably what the stressed person do actually to decide whether will gain weight or not!

Humans developed many forms of emotions.

Stress is one of them.

 

When I an stressed....I go gaylang to have a good adrenaline rush. It relaxed my mind when the tension is reLeased!!

What make a person stress in first place?

 

Take things to hard?

 

you can't avoid stress, even winning lottery, going on holiday, etc is alsoquite stressful [laugh]

during the actual stress time people dont eat. It's when they get off the stress period (like when they reach home late at night) that they start binge eating.

stress = can't eat/sleep = lose weight

 

But I saw this...

Scientists have found that sleep deprivation increases levels of a hunger hormone and decreases levels of a hormone that makes you feel full. The effects may lead to overeating and weight gain.

 

Sleep will lose weight depend who u r sleeping with :D
