GLZT 6th Gear January 20, 2011 Share January 20, 2011 I guess Ebay would be great, but shipping for such a huge object like the bumper is going to be expensive.

Whatisthis04 Neutral Newbie January 20, 2011 Share January 20, 2011 I guess Ebay would be great, but shipping for such a huge object like the bumper is going to be expensive. Is it the weight tax expensive? The goods tax of 7% applies right?

Beehive3783 Turbocharged January 21, 2011 Share January 21, 2011 Is it the weight tax expensive? The goods tax of 7% applies right? THe bumper may be light, but volumetric weight calculation will kill you.

GLZT 6th Gear January 21, 2011 Share January 21, 2011 THe bumper may be light, but volumetric weight calculation will kill you. Yup, its the size and dimension of the entire bumper that will contribute most in this case.

Crazybugger 1st Gear September 29, 2011 Share September 29, 2011 i've purchased parts online before but so far, all the stores send only by courier - they don't go by ship. Couriers charges are based on actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher. for something like a bumper, the volumetric weight will be huge. for eg, I used Vpost to send a set of 15" rims from USA a few years ago, it costed then about $250. For their couriers to send direct to sgp will have costed much more. you tried our local scrap yards already? ↡ Advertisement
