hi just 2 pool training before the sea water dive is it normal? i getting 1 for $588 now for spore training

normal... the pool sessions are for you to familiarise with the equipment and various drills. The open water session is another round of drills etc except it is conducted in the sea. Have fun!!!!! :D

Tip: For beginners, try to avoid self-clearing masks. Otherwise, you will find yourself unable to pinch your nose to equalize your ears.

just a reminder there was a report few years back of a few senior citizens (in japan or korea?) who died while practising diving in a shallow pool. If I recall the report said they didn't breathe out while pushing up to the pool surface. The injury to their lungs was too much for their age.

so don't forget to always breathe out.

Hmm.. 2 pool lessons, seems too little... maybe times had change, if i remember correctly, I had class theory lesson, pool lessons before trying out in the open water. Why not you check around with other dive schools and compare, remember $$$ can earn back, life cannot. Safety are paramount in diving, so if you're aren't 100% comfortable with one particular school there are many more around.

Cheers!
