Ati cross fire from what i understand work like this. HD NNXX as long as NN is the same can liao. XX not impotant. But if when u cross fire, the higher XX will tune down to follow the slower XX.

For your HD 5850, think your PSU is 500 likely no recommendation. Sorry i wasnt an expert, all are via google one.

I am more of buying a insurance, cause hd48xx series graphic card single card alone already can reach 80deg liao so x-fire even worse. I am using full tower so noise not and issue as the tower will absorb the noise too. Furthermore, i have fan controller so i can still adjust fan speed.

Haha...not too sure if it helps for crossfire significantly, previously I used it for overclocking and CPU temp is only better by 2deg, but the noise is unbearable.

The overall airflow does not help in my gfx temp also (my 230mm is mounted infront of the casing-push)

U can find it everywhere in SLS, pi pi nia around 15 bucks with filter and grill.

BTW I'm using a GTX260+

At the font??? No wonder no help. Mine is at the side, right on top of my cpu and graphic cards
