Tot that the badminton hall is near to Fatty Weng side? The stadia in Gay World was hosting basketball matches. Gay World had a lok-lok at the rear entrance, one or two dangdut disco in front. (something funny with Gay and rear entrance being mentioned in the same sentence.)

Talking about those dancing clubs, I always hang around there watching those 'ladies' with heavy make-ups & dress up like dolls with men, smoking, screaming and at times fighting with another same kind ........ [laugh][laugh]

I was under 18 then so cannot enter but hand around outside doing 'bird' watching .... [sly]

New World also got one dance club.......

haha when i started watching, 林水镜 was in twilight of career already although the newspapers gave a glimpse of his and other players' past achievement by repeatedly talk about their titles comparing him to those names that picnic had mentioned.

Hmmmmm.................. I remember when there are exhibitions at Great World, they will shine 3 very bright spot lights into the night sky. And from far, once ppl see those 3 bright lights, they know that something is 'on' at Great World and I always pester my father to bring me there ..... [sly]

I also remember that when taking bus there, always drop off after you see "Times House" (former Straits Times printing house) .......

Hi Guys,

Are you familiar with the 大世界,繁华世界 or 新世界?

I remember when I was very young, these amusement parks were still around but I was too small to know what are the location or the attractions inside.

新世界 is also amusement park or its just a hotel?

There is another one : 美世界。。。at Bukit Timah
