SimonTan 2nd Gear January 18, 2011 Share January 18, 2011 Next time you park at shopping center or carparks, just disable the IU! I have installed a simple bypass switch for the IU on my car! Without the IU powered up, no way to get out of ERP car park! Gov already given us a very basic security system! If only gov install ERP gantry at customs, then No way for thief to bring the car over that easily! Actually in Singapore, seldom people steal car as a whole,

Opel17 6th Gear January 20, 2011 Share January 20, 2011 Without the IU powered up, no way to get out of ERP car park! Gov already given us a very basic security system! If only gov install ERP gantry at customs, then No way for thief to bring the car over that easily! Most ERP car park also provide a "slot reader" to cater for those foreign cars without IU. Therefore, a cashcard/autopass would get the car out of the ERP car park.
