Mini-itx2010 Neutral Newbie January 12, 2011 Share January 12, 2011 http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.ph...487&DL=1120 I thought how come it looked so similar. Checked the chassis number and its EK71334. Thats my old car. I bought it from this dealer quite sometime ago. then went into an accident and chassis was warped. Thus sold it off cheaply. Never expect it to go back to the same dealer again later.....What a small world. ↡ Advertisement
SimonTan 2nd Gear January 12, 2011 Share January 12, 2011 So if I asked the dealer the two question. 1) Got accident before? 2) Who is the ex owner? Will I get? 1) Zero accident free, you can check the chassie welding tabs, still ok. 2) Doctor's wife, under shelter all the time, super low mileage of 60,000km only. Very dangerous to buy second hand cars. Many think they are smart to buy second hand at times of high COE...but if suay suay buy this accident BMW.....sure regret!! Vega Turbocharged January 12, 2011 Share January 12, 2011 how come the yrly rd tax is more than a 2L car?
The_young_once Neutral Newbie January 12, 2011 Share January 12, 2011 how come the yrly rd tax is more than a 2L car? Because this car is more than 10years old, any car once above 10 years old the road tax will up by 10% annually, maximum capped at 150% by the 15th year, no more increase thereafter, so since this car originally registered 1992, now would be 18-19 years old, hence the road tax is (already hit) the maximum at 150% for the 1.8litre, i.e., 150% of what would be a normally (less than 10 year old) 1.8 litre car Good stuff, the car is looking very nice, and BMW manuals are really good to use, Kenny

Mona-vie 1st Gear January 12, 2011 Share January 12, 2011 I am rather weary about the car. TS said he went thru an accident and sold it. It must be very bad else he is unlikely to sell the car just because of a minor accident. TS also mentioned chassis is warped which is something very bad. Only a serious accident will cause that. Of course chassis can pulled back but it can never be perfectly restored. Vendor will definitely hide whatever flaws and they will only surface after a few months later...... An the number plate looks very new. SJV...... Why the need to change it?

At most you treat him kopi only mah..... ↡ Advertisement
