I wonder if this post is a joke.

 

I'll bite though, I would hazard a guess that the stats for stolen cars in SG would be one a year, and even then it's probably because someone made a mistake somehow.

In Singapore, the rate of car stolen is 1 car stolen every 4 days while In Malaysia, 150 vehicles are stolen in Malaysia daily.

That right there is fake news from an untrusted source, who wouls benefits from the fake news.

 

What I'm saying is crime is SG is so low that car theft is likely negligible. In a country where there are crime alerts for stolen flower pots (yes, I've seen it), it's a good thing that car theft is so low.

 

Of course I have no stats to back this up (and may be a false sense of security). But in a country where it makes the national headlines when one person breaks into two cars (below), I highly doubt that any cars get completely stolen in SG without a huge fuss occurring.
