E-Jazz Neutral Newbie January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 hi all, somehow after awhile say 5 to 10 mins of wiper activation, the wipers begin to judder. has anyone face this situation and managed to find a solution to DIY to solve it or must we send it to our authorise dealers? Thanks ↡ Advertisement

Wesfox Neutral Newbie January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 for me Rain-X is the culprit, anyone know how to completely wash the Rain-X off the glass? from now on I will only apply Rain-X on the side and rear windows and the mirror only.
Kiasuking88 Neutral Newbie January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 (edited) Use silicon remover on the windscreen rgularly and do not apply those car wash shampoo with wax (wash and wax kind) on the windscreen. ONly use clean water to wash windscreen. No use sending to authorised dealer as they will tell u to change wiper. hi all, somehow after awhile say 5 to 10 mins of wiper activation, the wipers begin to judder. has anyone face this situation and managed to find a solution to DIY to solve it or must we send it to our authorise dealers? Moredhel 2nd Gear January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 Clean windscreen with automotive glass cleaner. Change wipers. Problem solved. Throw rain-x away or use all at one go on other glass types.
PatrickTan Neutral Newbie January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 For me, i change the refills when my wipers judders. Sometimes when you use non original refills, this may happen too. So the best is to use original refills. As some of the brothers mentioned here, rainx should never never be used on windscreen cos this will cause instant judders
Baphomet 3rd Gear January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 change to frameless wipers, should be able to get rid of the judders.
Watwheels Supersonic January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 Hire bangalah sit on your car roof and use micro fibre cloth to wipe while you drive. Activate "wiper" by punching the car roof. Punch once for "On", twice for "Off".

Ruykava Neutral Newbie January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 Clean your windscreen until you can hear the 'squeek' sound from your microfibre cloth. You will no longer have juddering. Yes, this does require quite a lot of strength - go at it! Don't just wipe it like you wipe a table. Rain-X is actually fine - been using it for a long time - as long as you wipe it sufficiently. If there's even the tiniest bit of "haze" left over, you will get juddering wipers! So again, wipe it thouroughly and with lots of strengh.
