DIY ideas for car black box camera dvr

Hi all, i was thinking of DIY some camera in my car to record. but i am goin to DIY instead of just buying and place it in the windscreen( blocking my view and got to keep if not too hot the whole thing dropped out).

 

Was thinking 4 camera will be too much anot? :P

 

any idea that can give me on how the camera shall work... cos i might have miss out some...

 

thinking to record video of front and back while driving , and record 4 side while parking out of car... can record ppl scratching the car...

 

but is it too much ? :P

 

or did i miss out anymore important pointers?

If you got $1000 budget then its doable.

 

Just have to get the DVR and camera and a few 64Gb memory cards.

 

While driving front and rear, you can get the auto record camara once it detect the 12V cigrette lighter power.

 

The 4 sides camera while car is parked, you really need a four channel DVR recorder and four cameras. Also you will need to install a separate 12V battery to power the camaras. This can be done in the boot and parallel to the car charging system to charge it while driving, and a isolator to prevent it from draining the main battery.

sls got sell already lah, dont even need to diy. or you can buy those recorder with 4 channels, so can mount 4 cameras. can hide under car seat.
