I think price will surge up somehow for the wish. Right now my hopes are to make sure COE bidding goes thru for me next Wednesday.

Anw when i test drive , theres no auto lock when u step on the brake pedal, this is not installed for a new Wish by BM? Anyone bought with this system installed? If no, where and how much to expect? Is it recommended?

The 3M film im noob at knowing what % to judge, but ive always wanted the most darkest and not sure if is approved by LTA. Theres one user posted his/her grey toyota wish. And i like that tinted windows.

Seems like Toyota autolock is different. My 2000 Corona only autolock if you start the engine with all doors closed then step on brake pedal. My 2007 Wish also the same.

Sadly. Something which they should not remove from all vehicle as it is safety for some reasons.

Anw got my bidding pass from today's bid. Hopefully my ride will be out end of month. Overwhelming bidders today.

I was told it interferes with the immobiliser function. Don't know if true or not.

but many ppl install obd to enable the auto lock function. cost afew tens of dollars only.

Yup, ive read around that obd is plug n play and can work easily but the bad side is whether it will affect the system in the running time. I will get workshop feedback on how

Congratulations for getting your COE at the first try, were yours the guarantee package how much you pay for your Elegance? Good for you as you didn't have to go thru the "excitement" of the COE roller coaster which I experienced.

Come to think of it my Wish Std is coming to 1 year old in a couple of days. Very satisfied with it and it is a very simple and pratical workhorse. I had clock almost 20,000km with an average of 13+ km/l (actual calculation is 12.7 km/l for the 1 year) with 50/50 travelling route.

I think if you travel up north the auto door lock feature is very important, in the beginning I try to activate the locking by pressing the door lock button on the driver side door panel but always forget and now a days I just don't bother anymore. If you go JB please remember to activate it manually.

Enjoy your new ride.

outside workshop feedback is that so far many ppl install no issue.. but I don't dare install for now. I'll check with BM when I go there for servicing...

It is good that it become a natural habit for you, luckily I don't go JB now a days so it should be quite safe in our road.

I guess will try to practise more often to make it a natural habit like you do.

even Sg also not very safe now... seen videos of road rages where crazy drivers/riders/pedestrians get down n try to open driver's door.

Bros/Sis recently bought new Wish, any advice on what to check importantly when collecting the car? Elegance Model.

There's a new car checklist somewhere on this forum but this is a Toyota, moreover a 2nd generation, 8 year old model. We don't need to check anything, just take key n drive off! lol

If u really wanna check, go 1 round the car for accidental scratches or chips.

Hiya all,

I just got a 2015 Wish. I tried to get the Owners Manual for this, but [amazingly!], after searching the entire www, I can't find even a single site that has this manual !

So can any kind brothers/sisters here please upload a copy of the 2015 Wish Owner's manual for me?

I would really really appreciate it !

Thanks in advance ! smile.gif

Anyway, if can't find a copy of the Owner's manual, I have a question that I hope some of you can answer. :)

It's about the 'Eco Mode'.

There's apparently 2 [!] Eco Mode On/Off settings - One is a hard button located near the center console [right of the main air-controls], while the other [green leaf icon] can be toggle On/Off by using the 'little long black stick' located behind the steering wheel, on the front dashboard [where the RPM, fuel level etc are].

So my questions are,

[1] Why are there 2 'Eco Mode] settings? What does each do? or are they the same?

[2] Does a lighted 'Eco Mode' on the dashboard means it's turned On or Off ?

Thanks in advance. :)
