Hi Guys,

Just wondering anybody knows the 2009 Wish GZE20 which model (1.8 or 2.0, AD or PI) that is 4 spd automatic instead of 7 spd CVT. I came across a July 2009 1.8 unit with 4 spd automatic transmission, will the fuel consumption be higher as compare to the 7 spd CVT? Thanks in advance!

My own opinion is yes, 4AT should not be as efficient as the newer CVT.

 

That being said, there are many other factors that affect fuel consumption such as wear and tear parts that are not properly maintained i.e tyres and engine etc.

Hi, i just bought a 2nd hand wish elegance. I had encountered some issues with the roof mounted dvd player and hu and i hope to get some advice from wish bros.

I can play dvd in the dvd roof mounted player but no there is no sound from the hu as i saw from forum before got bros say the sound is linked to the hu fm.

 

2ndly, when my car is stationary, i can see the dvd at the front hu dvd player. But, when i release the leg brake and started move off, the image on the screen is gone.

 

Can any bros advise on this?

to get the sound from the front HU, i think radio must tune to 88.x.  When the car is moving, it is a safety feature to disable the video to ensure the driver is not distracted.  The video will only work when the car is stationary.  You can by pass at any audio shop.  Mind sharing how old is your wish and how much did you pay for it?

Bro, my ride is 6years old.Registered in 2014. I pay for around 70k. Quite a good buy as its still under bm warranty and the mileage usage is around 10k/ yr. Everythings looks new since the usage is not alot.

reg in 2014, the car should be about 4yrs old (or 6yrs left). BM's warranty is for 5yrs. $70k noted.

Haha..bro, sorry..is 4 years old..left 6 years..70k..so for the sound to come out from hu..it shoulf be tune to 88.1 to 88.9 see sound from which frequency?

i try fm 88.0 to 88.9, still cant get the sound..

headache...lol

My wish elegance was tuned to 88.1. I remember there are times when the sound was disconnected from HU, have to use remote to “on/off” the sound or something like that.. just traded in my wish for the new Prius plus..
