Toyota wish queries

I had bought the plan back in Sept. 2016 and it is also at $160+, so look like over the 1.5 year the price had not gone up yet.

I will send my car to BM for servicing until the warranty is over which is the 6th year. You can enjoy discount of 20% for servicing for the 4th & 5th year ( this alone already can cover more than this fee paid during the car warranty period ) and from the 6th year onward is 30% off for servicing and also for spare parts and other repair it is up to 30% discount.

Back then if you join when the car is more than 3 yr it is $200+ and if less than 3 yr it is $160+.

Is it $160 for 3 years or $160 annually?

It is a one time payment to join the Shield Infinity Plan and it should be valid as long as you own the car. I think it can also be transfer to the new owner in case you sell your car but there is a fee to be paid to change the owner name.

Now I am paying the full amount for the servicing for my 2nd and 3rd year. Just went in last month for my 30,000 km standard service at $270+ including tires rotation and balancing.

Actually it is $162.25. 20% off for vehicle aged 37 to 60 months. No discount for vehicle below aged 37 month.

Cannot transfer to new car. Only bind with vehicle.

Heartpain.

I had gone to BM for a complaint of a whining sound in my steering and the service advisor had suggested that I drive the car with him inside to the MSCP at that carpark.

I was driving down a ramp very very slowly from the Blk 54A carpark at Strathmore Avenue from the topmost carpark level. As my car was approaching the hump at the end of the ramp, I suddenly heard a scraping sound. The service advisor said "Shit, We hit the hump".

I had no choice but to reverse the car back up the ramp. Saw my underside of my front bumper was scratched. Heartpain man....

Who can I claim from? Service Advisor or HDB?

But frankly the service advisor also don't know the stupid hump was so high....

I had written to HDB to complain but service advisor said chances of getting claim are low.

Shit man... What kind of stupid carpark is that stupid block!!!

Anyone who drove up there won't know when you drive down (I drove very very slowly) and still kana... walao....

Looks to me like you step on the accelerator very hard during takeoff? Rabbit start?

If so, yeah, of course you will get poor mileage.

If you accelerate smoothly and slowly, you should get around 14km/l at least, assuming 50%-50% highway, city

Yes, tire pressure also plays a part.

Need to check tire pressure minimally once a month.

Tks, the FC is getting better as the running in of the engine becoming more smooth.

if we do not send to boneo for service does that mean warranty void? They trying to sell the membership.

In theory , yes . But recently there was news that even never service with them, warranty will not be voided. It's your call

Strangely the servicec advisor at LK told me otherwise.

But wat I do know was that the car felt a lot more sluggish after their servicing vs the previous time when I used my own oil 5W-30.

Let me double check with them what oil they use.

Just sent my car to Leng Kee service centre for 30k servicing. The service advisor confirmed that they are using 5W30 grade engine oil. Cheers

Yes I've checked with them. They are using 5W-30 Castro. They changed following customer feedback that 5w-50 was too thick.

Actually the Wish manual stated 5W-30 as the correct spec too.
