I go Bến Thành Market for the toothbrush...quite cheap.

 

Just dun like being hassled and pulled in by the vendors.

roger. I went korea with m1 data passport. Very good.

10 + 2 dollars extra only.

Used my own data plan there.

 

My BIL goes malaysia every week. He's also on data passport.

The changi recommends pocket wifi is very good. Just make sure your child dun lose it and charger.

be careful with data roaming thingy . . . I subscribed to ST before my trip to taiwan but they did not activate on first day.

 

I was charged S$250 for that day . . . . sent them email and they said they will waive  [furious]

how old is your kid? if in primary sch just let the school handle them lor.

 

last time i dun let them use handphone overseas one, they can take phot with the phone but they dun have to use it for call or data. Any urgent matters can use teacher phone to call.

moreover hotel got wifi, go overseas excursion is for them to learn about the country culture and admire the scenery whatever, if give them data all they do is use the phone on the bus or even walking, end of the trip you ask them what they learn or see in the trip, they say DUNO!

Have to make sure u follow the instructions. And only manually connect to the correct provider.

M1 once it's activated, they will sms you.

 

I activated before i left.
