Going HCM,Vietnam.....any good recommendation for hotels?

Went HCM every 2 months. Highly recommend A&EM group of hotels. Better to stay at District 1 since it's your first visit there. Food and shopping is easily accessible at Dist 1. You can consider this hotel which open less than a year.

Booked via Agoda is hassle free. Try also 132 Ly Tu Trong St., Ben Thanh Wd., Dist. 1, HCM City

 

For night life, try Gossip disco located below Dai Nam hotel. Will not regret.

 

Be careful. of your personal belonging especially your wallet at your back pocket. Always carry your belonging in front of you. As the local says, anything that was at your back doesn't belong to you.

** have googled and done my online homework ... hoping for real local experience /advice.

i stayed at linh linh hotel @ quang ninh during my stay at ha long bay. ard 120SGD over 5 days.

 

For ha long bay, if u got ways, u can go for ha long bay cruise tour via the local's way. Booking the tour online or thru agency can cost u 100+ USD per pax. I paid 1.5mil dong for a family of 5 adults 1 kid.

travelling on a packaged tour ... so no choice of accom ... so asking for feedback on the provided accom.

 

but thanks for the advice ... when paying the balance, the agent also told us that he just came back last week from another group tour and two group members got robbed over there !!

Any suggestions for hotels, restaurants and things to see in both places.

I am extremely serious about it, if there is one schedule to Vietnam in group tour organize by our friendly mcfer's, by hook or by crook, I will be ready marching on together to attacks the vietnamese [gorgeous]   

 

Standard Battle Order :

  • Blue Pills to fully utilise valuable ammunition and cut down time  :a-shoot:
  • Rain Coat for family protections in very wet situations attackings  [rifle]
  • Razor sharp scissors like what @Leinad8919 :a-fun: regualarly use
  • Digital JVC handy cam & Canon Camera to capture enemies :a-shy:  mass destructive weapons
  • i7 Note book to write field reports for MCF commanders for battle advices  :a-SOS:

I have a lot of suggestions of things to do in HCM.

 

But cannot be discussed in a family forum like MCF.

 

The Nikko hotel is very nice.

try to stay in a decent hotel just in case you wake up from your nite out and find even your CK underwear also missing, least you can take a cab back go to your room and withdraw  your spare cash [laugh].
 
but on a serious note, my luggage was "lightly" ransack and found my CK jeans missing from the hotel room [nod]

Find charbo by yourself is safer. Go clubbing there charbo will find u.
