The scenario.

Incorporate a company ABC124 Pte. Ltd. on 30 Dec. Everything approved.

But on 31 Dec, found unit number wrong. So, went into bizfile to update address. Got new bizfile.

Today, went to OCBC to open bank account. But bank insist address in MAA must tally with bizfile. Got such thing meh?

Call up ACRA and was told that MAA is fixed as incorporation was done successful.

Any bank manager can help clarify this? Thanks.

think u kena smoked.

business address is usually verified against the ACRA forms not the MAA.

otherwise, it could come to such a ridiculous situation that when a company wants to move to another address, it cannot because the address will be different from that in MAA ?

Thanks for the prompt reply. This is also what we told them but they check internally and insist must match. [rifle]

We will try DBS or UOB then.

Print out a copy of your Biz reg from ACRA and show it to them.

Thanks. We printed out the latest copy for them. But they said the bizfile addr is different from Maa.

But anyway, the sales team from ocbc called as they found the new company in acra. This guy said can. So within the bank they have multiple policy. :o
