get a 2nd hand car bro. 2008 or 2009 model.

Make more sense to buy 3 YO 2nd used car (though price went up also, but at much lower quantum). Or, if got taxi licence, hire a taxi (abt $80???) from taxi company. Can use it for personal transport and earn extra income at the same time.

It may be cheaper to lease rather than buy a car.

 

One can rent a Channa Benni for $800 a mth. That works out to just $27 a day and it includes rd tax, maintenance and comprehensive insurance.

 

If your budget is higher, $1,200 gets you a 3 to 5 yr old Japanese 1.6l car. That works out to only $40 a day.
