Assuming you cant sell it for cash

Assuming you have to use it as your primary car

Assuming cost of petrol, maintenance, road tax add up all roughly the same

 

1) BMW 318

or

2) Honda Accord 2.0 (A)

after registration, go JB lose it... claim insurance and buy another car...

 

why you got to cars to choose one to take over is it? ^_^

i asked this coz i read so many are totally against being a badge whores....

to the effect that buying a 318 is a waste of money...bla bla

depends on needs ma. i think those 20s 30s ppl will take the 318. maybe those 40s and above may prefer bigger and more luxurious feeling accord. Somemore i believe the accord is cheaper, so not really that fair though.

one cost 177k... the other cost 160k.

 

badge whore or not i don't care.

 

i just want the more ex car.

 

does it make more logical sense?

But you cant sell it, so I don't see a point since you don't care about the badge.

The main problem currently is the price of the COE.

Imagine they call u to tell you u won a BMW 318 today!

 

But you have to bid for your own COE, and get it registered within three month. The $70K upfront cost to bid for the COE may be a burden for many.

Some may argue that paying $70k for a Free BMW is worth it.

 

But if the winner is a foreigner working in singapore, they will say it's a joke!! For
