Hi guys, as my mum is getting older, I intend to get her some milk formula which is high in calcium, so at least her bones would still be maintained in one way or another. Anyone have any recommendation ? Is there such formula for the elderly people??? Thanks and Happy New Year to you guys!

I remember my mum used to prepare a supplement drink called Complan for my grand dad. That was ages ago but I still think it suits the elderly.

Thanks would check it out. Anymore recommendation?

I bought Omega Plus for my mom-in-law...she mentioned is good enough. She dun like Anlene as the calcium taste is too strong for her.

Can be bought in SG but I think is pricier. If you frequent JB can buy from Tesco, cheaper by around 2-3 sg dollars. And Msian packet has 1 kg pack whereas SG only has 600g. [cool]

HI

I highly recommend that you let her drink Colostrum Milk. It can increase immune system too. There was a newspaper report that there is an old lady who suffered from stroke, after taking colostrum milk, she can now walk to the market. In the market, you can go to Guardian Pharmacy to buy Riple brand, it is really good.

anlene I personally dont like...

as ads.. 4 spoon per time.. 2 time per day...

i think u will be using up a tin of anlene as fast as a baby finish a formula.

alternately.. one can try to get calcium from their daily food...

to my surprise.. sardine is a good source of calcium...i not sure abt u guys.. but i just love sardine..

so look up the list..u will surprise what type of fruit/food contain truck lot of calcium..

esp easiler for ppl who are not comfortable with dairy product.
