Starhub Service is VERY TERRIBLE + HORIBLE

I was trying to call Starhub to check on my bill, I waited for at least 1 hour then I managed to talk to a "very sleepy" lady customer officer, she doesn't know her job well, she said she will call me back. I waited for 2 hours, no call from her. I tried to call starhub at 1637 again, waited for 50 mins, and the line suddenly got cut off! I am very fedup with their service!!! Anyone has the same experience as well??

starhub last time got wait about 1 hr

singtel also got last week complain about the phone bill, wait for 1 hr plus and in the end they say they will call back

next day i go to the singtel outlets and find their manager as they nvr reply...

ckck is M1 also like this?

Starhub customer service used to be quite efficient and fast response, but it has gone the other way recently.

 

A case of too many customers and too few customer service staff to handle all........

so far their response time n service is the best imho.. maybe cos their customer base smallest. wonder why that is so, esp since they have been ard longer than sh1thub.

 

Maybe cause starhub came up with free incoming.

 

What I like about m1 is their call centre are mostly sporeans or at least ft with no funny accent like the other 2 telco

 

And when I key in my mobile no. They will greet me when picking up the call good afternoon mr. Tan.....

 

But when call Singtel, after I key my hse no. They still will ask, may I know the number pls.... Knn

You guys must be using Singtel mobile/M1 or land line to contact SH si boh...... I everytime call SH on my SH mobile line, within 5mins will talk to the CSO...with few exception, waited at most 15mins..... knn.... maybe they see this fella use Non SH line, kns let him wait.... kekekeke..... so far my experience with them okie lar..... only time is when I went over to Vivo.... KNN, wanted them to assist on some mobile issue, simi LJ also cannot..... wasted farking almost 1 hr waiting there... somemore got free show... 2 char bor scolding ^$#^^% in front of the whole crowd....

 

Pop over to Plaza Sing... same query, settled last then 5mins..... NBzzz.......

 

Also, last time I change my SIM card with SH, they gibe free, somemore help to transfer all the data...... do the same for my wife at SIngtel, throw you a new SIM card, bill for S$10+++ and ask you to transfer yourself.... pui.....

I agree on the M1 CS.... very good, esp if you are their Corp customer.... that time got M1 corp line..... wah serbice sebei good..... somemore signal no good, call their rep and comprain, they say will send technician to the location to do check and signal did really improve........

change sim card at plaza sing really damn fast. i was actually quite shocked at the speed i was served and the level of cs i received

 

when calling them i always call them during super non peak hrs bcos if you call them during the peak hrs confirm cannot make it one

Yes. This is starhub standard service level. I called them early last year on my Max tv problem. Did wait up to an hour to talk to cso. Then, after a few q and a, asked me to bring the box back to customer service.

Later, still have problem. Went directly to customer service to change. Customer service said, you cannot come before calling Helpdesk. :wacko:

The service from Hello shop at Compass Point is quite good although it is always crowded. The service at North Point is poor even it is always quiet.

The service from Starhub at Starhub centre is good even it is crowded. But the service is poor at Sun Plaza although the customer is not much.

Hotline response and manner from their operators sometimes are ok, sometimes are not ok. It depends on the timing and your luck.

All these are the same for credit card, banks, car show rooms, property & insurance agents, restaurants, hawkers, shares brokers etc......Our service quality level [furious] is many years behind those countries like Thailand, Taiwan, and ofcourse Japan. Even Hong Kong is now catching up fast as compared 5 years ago.

..The telcos are making MILLIONS every year and yet they cannot "cope" with their own subscribers call traffic to their own hotline?..If their product is good in the first place, then not many subscribers would call back for assistance right?..Thus having more subsrcibers calling back means there are a lot of problems with their product....

 

IDA holds the key to this by regulating these TELCOS CALL CENTRE SERVICES...summon them when they fail to meet basic customer standards...LTA already doing it to the TAXI Co...Don't see why IDA cannot step up by having a SINGLE hotline number for any subscribers to lodge-in....

Anyway, those that are pro in all these telco stuff. I would like to know what kind of cost all these telco company have when we are making calls, using 3g etc.

 

They only pay for the system right? Do they have to pay more when we use more besides the maintainance of their equipment of cause.

there is always insufficient staff at call centers.... i had a ang mo customer once waited 6 hrs to get help..... i salute their patience...

 

wait so long, can solve is ok... cannot solve, bounce u around realli need to [knife]

can any kind bros shared their experience in checking whether or did starhub overcharge? personally i have doubts in their billing , recently got a chalked up hugh bill and LL have to pay, and i have cancelled my mobile line with them.. ENUFF of their dumb customer svcs .

Simply donkey years to clear queries.

mine was overcharged a total of $130 for past 3 months, i renewed my mobile contract recently during Aug when they was doing an upgrade of the system. Very regretted due to the extremely slow 3g

The longer they delay, the longer they chop our carrot head. So, why do they bother? I told them off that they made me look like an idiot dealing with them. So, I switched to Singtel. Was so pissed that I almost blew my top.

2 years ago, all the handphone lines of my family were under my dad's name. My dad always faithfully paid out by cheque before the deadline. Imagine his chagrin when Singtel thought that we were late in paying and they actually had the audacity to send out simultaneous smses to all of our handphones, threatening to suspend the lines if payment was not made promptly.

 

Ridiculous to the max. No followup was made from them and my dad of course called them and blasted them on the phone for their error.

Imagine you were at a shop walking out after buying sutff and the security guard accosted you, accusing you of not paying. I would imagine a scene from hell.
