Iphone 4 as GPS

Time to upgrade my handset, want to get a iphone 4. anybody can advice how good is the iphone 4 GPS feature? can it use with google map. or I have to download a app for it? Is audio guide there as most standlone GPS? Thanks for all comments

Can use google maps but no voice navigation using data not GPS. Cannot use oversea unless u have data roaming which is VERY expensive. Can get the Papago app in app store to get full voice gps navigation. :) Can used oversea as using GPS instead of data. :)

work the same, the gps apps are from same companies that come out gps application for other phones or devices.

NAVPhone, Papago, Tomtom available for iphone.

there is a Navfone at USD 9.99. not sure how good it is though. personally using NDrive. so far so good. but i will be getting a Real GPS soon.

you need big screen for GPS for what?? you need good sound system and correct instruction from the GPS system nia.

cause i dont have to worry that phone after use as GPS no battery if i forgot to charge the phone while using GPS.

GPS consumption quite high better to connect to charger when surfing the route for some distances

Why not use a car charger. it's only a few dollars. iphone car charger
