Green_carnation Clutched December 27, 2010 Author Share December 27, 2010 http://www.hilti.com.sg/holsg/page/module/...p;nodeId=-36181 check it out at HILTI, basically have to select a drill model, and buy this 'dust removal attachment' for the drill. I had seen some workmen using BOSCH with a same kind of dust remval or vacumn, but can't find them in their web. Heard that they're not cheap 4-500++ per set incl drill Bro.. this is what ihave found out.. $300++ for this unit from Bosch.. vacuum attached to the drill.. http://bosch-sale.ru/images/8e2a93a2daaca8...cba35447640.jpg Besides this.. the K'archer is $48 as quoted by their Sales office in Toh Guan.. Mazdaowner Moderator December 27, 2010 Share December 27, 2010 If you use this on a daily basis, then by all means, if adhoc like me, Karchar. Reminder money can buy stuff for the family. Karu 6th Gear December 27, 2010 Share December 27, 2010 The K'archer one looks adequate. No need to buy another drill just to collect dust. But not sure if it works on ceilling. The pro's do it with a plastic bottle or wet rag...
Mazdaowner Moderator December 27, 2010 Share December 27, 2010 Good enough, use it once in a while. Ceiling wise, never tried, have my son standby with a Karcher wet/dry Vacuum that was before I bought this thing. The K'archer one looks adequate. No need to buy another drill just to collect dust. But not sure if it works on ceilling. The pro's do it with a plastic bottle or wet rag...

Karu 6th Gear December 27, 2010 Share December 27, 2010 how does plastic bottle n wet rag work? the dust will still fly all over still ya? The 1/2 cut bottle with the mouth fited thru the drill, this appeared to work for ceiling drilling. Seen another contractor holding the wet rag around the drill bit in one hand & the drill in another, very pro, no dust at all. But dun try that if u are not stable on the other hand, the rag may be tangled up into the drill... The pros do it very effortlessly unlike me. Every hole is like a major operation...
