Windwaver Turbocharged December 23, 2010 Share December 23, 2010 I've asked around, some friends say it's normal to have random ache or pain in the body (e.g. occasional tummy pain, leg/arms/back pain, etc) but some friends say they never have any pain. I think it has got to do with each person's level of tolerance or do you go see a doc if you have any pain? ↡ Advertisement

Unless u have consistent pain at the same spot and quite frequently, to the extent u remember its the same spot. Otherwise why go see a doctor? I doubt they can diagnose anything from your descriptions. A thorough body check up probably yes.
Windwaver Turbocharged December 23, 2010 Author Share December 23, 2010 Probably random but I'll like to know if any bros here have random pain/ache in their body from time to time. Bicolor 5th Gear December 23, 2010 Share December 23, 2010 I sometimes do. Saw 3 doctors just for peace of mind and all put it down to possible bad posture at the computer as well as carrying my heavy backpack with my camera equipment and work stuff all the time. Interestingly enough the aches and pains disappear while driving, provided I'm in a vehicle I'm comfortable with and get the right position. This is so even with extremely long hours of driving. I also have that experience before. Thought something was 'pulling' on my shoulders and see doctor, end up was bad posture leading to muscle problem that went away after a few days

Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear December 23, 2010 Share December 23, 2010 A few weeks back, I overdone the bike fit a little too much to cycle faster, and had pulled hamstring. Now recovering slowly without medication/consulting doctor. Am I doing the right thing?
Karoon Turbocharged December 23, 2010 Share December 23, 2010 thse occasional, mild pains if you go GP there's not much they can do except give painkillers and ask to rest. unless you're prepared to go all the way to know root cause, ask for hospital referral, see specialist, go scan etc etc

I think it has got to do with each person's level of tolerance or do you go see a doc if you have any pain? Women will say tummy pain when they are menstruating. They won't say it out loud they are having their period. The rest you should know what causes it since it's your body. If you have no idea and it's persistant dan see a doctor. But if you are unsure but hope to post on a forum to get less than ideal advice, I would suggest you go. The pain may not be solved but a peace of mind is immeasurable. Windwaver Turbocharged December 24, 2010 Author Share December 24, 2010 Yeah, some pain/ache is like sharp but totally random, then some are more regular but not very painful or achy; regular as in not always there but comes back randomly e.g. muscle problems, etc. Now the difficult part is most doctors can't tell exactly what's the problem even with explanation. Then when you go for scans/tests (waste money) and everything comes back to show that nothing is wrong but the pain/ache still there
Darthrevan Supercharged December 24, 2010 Share December 24, 2010 doctors will just give u some painkillers if the pain is a general one..if u're having muscle ache around the back/leg, it could be postural issues..in that case u shld consult a chiropractor
