las time it used to be CM, but the makers actualy move to FM... therefore in the past couple of years, FM became the better game, n CM went downhill....

 

i played CM (n now recently FM) eversince poly days as this game nev get out of date, reason being we are dealing with real name players every year....

Does FM11 supports the MAC, since im planning to buy a mac air soon....

 

if not i hav to buy the win 7 software n install on my mac inorder to play FM....

i started playing since CM Italia (with the likes of Maradona, Van Basten, Lentini) until FM 2009/10

 

i rem my first team was the all-invincible AC Milan to the all-conquering Barcelona team of last season...

same here. but only the Italian league was available iirc. Eric Cantona was invincible, scoring 100+ goals a seaon.

 

I played 0-4-1-5 (Yes, Gk, no defenders, four midfield, 1 AM, 5 Forwads) and it actually worked. Every game I win 12/13-0. Sometimes even scoring 20+ in a game.

 

Then I took over 4 teams just for fun and tried out all players. But Cantona still the king. Shearer, Giggs, Joachim was not too bad.

No problem playing on mac as i am doing that on my mac pro.

Anyone tried FM 2012? I tried and it's quite nice....but kinda too much function till very slow progress.

Yup agree that it's quite slow. Too much going on in the background I guess.

 

A little about the history... previously, it was known as CM, made by Eidos (I think) and Sigames. They split due to some reasons and Edios retained the name 'Championship Manager' while Sigames retained the programme, the format and layout. Therefore, the first FM was actually very similar to the last CM.
