Dh15 Clutched December 19, 2010 Share December 19, 2010 ya i know but im looking for advice What advice do you want? At least specify your queries. I used the multi-sim from the red company before and had a very bad experience. After that i nvr use their multi-sim service anymore. By the way, do not get con into getting the micro-sim at a higher price per mth. My friend went to Singtel and enquired about multi-sim, if u wan the NORMAL SIM card, it is $5 per mth. BUT if you wan the MICRO-SIM card, you have to pay $10 per mth! Company's staff reply to why you pay more per mth for the micro sim is, "becos one is small SIM and the other is big SIM." PROFESSIONAL!
Meganut 2nd Gear December 19, 2010 Share December 19, 2010 Wah... win already! SO professional... I am using green :) I thought the Sim card can cut??? I saw the ah beng shops in Toa Payoh or Bedok can't remember which one, they sell the cutter too... you can cut the normal size sim card (thats what the ah beng says)
Nerdyfrog Neutral Newbie December 19, 2010 Share December 19, 2010 you can cut normal sim into Micro professionally using a sim cutting tool kit costing $5. If not, you can try to align and cut your self. Do not try unless you know what to align...i tried this and had to using masking tape to stick my product onto the tray after 2000+++ times trial and error. INsert in and out. Xtrocious 1st Gear December 19, 2010 Share December 19, 2010 hmm any issues with the multi sim? Bro, you want advice, you must specify what you want to know... Else how to "advise" you?
macrosszero Turbocharged December 20, 2010 Share December 20, 2010 Multi-sim You specify one SIM to be the "primary" sim card, and the other will be the "secondary" sim card by default. So phone calls will be directed to your phone. Your portable device will not be the one receiving any call. You can however use it to make calls, send text messages and use mobile broadband. Both devices can be online and surfing at the same time. You can surf on one device while making calls on your phone. I use a smartphone and a HSDPA-enabled notebook on such a setup.
