Icedbs Turbocharged December 10, 2010 Share December 10, 2010 No matter what, it's never nice to hear of ppl losing their rice bowl... don't worry for these group of people. They are always rotating between properties, cars and financial products. For all you know, all they have to do is join 2nd car dealer and they are all set to thrive again. Kelpie 2nd Gear December 11, 2010 Share December 11, 2010 The group, which retrenched a number of other employees earlier this year, will be farming out its Mitsubishi franchise to a sub-dealer. It seems like the Proton Inspira does have certain impact to them even before its lanuch. So likely Inspira is going to touch Singapore Land. So Proton should be expecting to sell more cars here? Zuoom 1st Gear December 11, 2010 Share December 11, 2010 you try to explain to friends from overseas that the 10 years lease paper thingy cost more than the car... and they will go "huh?", "what's that?", "Say that again. 60K?" of course the new sales would have to go. who in their right mind would buy a brand new vehicle for over 150K when they can grab one for 80K (or less) that's just a few years old? NightWind 4th Gear December 11, 2010 Share December 11, 2010 zoujieming think sell car is not real job .its part time. becos no skill require U try go sell car now, see if its easy or not. See if u can have all the tech specs and reviews as well as financials and strategies in your head. That comment is not very fair. And can only be applied to sinkapoor pap million dollar ministers.... oh wait...comment like that does not apply to parasites as parasites add no value and live off the host, so i guess that comment also is inapporpriate for pap ministers... Icedbs Turbocharged December 11, 2010 Share December 11, 2010 (edited) of course they can find a job, but can the job they find maintain their current life style? some of them drive audi, bmws and lexus. Then change the lifestyle then. I am never worried for this group of people. They are survivors. My brother is a car dealer. When times were bad, he go open pub with friends to survive. When now 2nd cars are in demand again, he close his pub and start selling cars. He owns a BMW 7 series and a Audi A8. You worried for him? Not me. They have a network of "pig and dog" friends to help them survive. I am more worried when old people cleaning tables get retrench. Those are really sad cases.
