Need to cater 50 bottles of wine for wedding... any lobang?? =( Siglap has one shop .. but like very ex.... any help?

50 bottles isn't a very large amount especially when considering it's for a one-off event. But you can try Carrefour, they've got a good selection at reasonable prices. Or try the Denise Warehouse Sale shop at Turf City. Wine Connection is another retail outlet with bargain priced wines.

 

Otherwise, look for the wine suppliers to restaurants like: GrandVin, Auric Pacific, Magnum Wines & Spirits, Taste of Tradition, Hock Tong Bee, Beam Global, Straits Wine Company, WineBOS etc... These guys generally supply fine wines, and thus are priced accordingly.

 

In fact, you need to ascertain what style of wine you'd like for the wedding before proceeding any further. Consider the type of cuisine that will be served on that night, the demographic of the wedding guests, red or white wine...or both, whether or not you'll need bubblies for toasting, and of course your budget.
