Philipkee Twincharged December 7, 2010 Share December 7, 2010 Just want to ask this question. If I convert OPC to revised OPC, can i drive the car immediately during the revised OPC hours? For example, can I pay on Friday and drive on Sat? Or pay on Sat and drive immediately after that? Thanks ↡ Advertisement

David Clutched December 7, 2010 Share December 7, 2010 This is the very reason I am not comfortable with the revised OPC, I really do not understand why they make it so simple for the OPC - drive first, pay later. What if they forget to pay?
Lowrider 2nd Gear December 7, 2010 Share December 7, 2010 Why not make it a habit with the previous system? Pay first, then drive. But this time you have a 'safety net' of 24 hours should you forget...

Pocus Turbocharged December 7, 2010 Share December 7, 2010 (edited) I think got timestamp. eg: Sat you don't drive to LTA in the morning and convert to revise OPC. sway sway they spot you on the way to LTA and check that you are not converted to revise yet, you will be fined. After you convert, you can drive...don't need to wait for the road tax disc, but keep your LTA receipt in your glove box just in case. anyway to confirm.....call LTA to enquire...their line is 24hrs. SimonTan 2nd Gear December 7, 2010 Share December 7, 2010 gov was very caring when they implement the paper licence, need tog o to post office to buy first drive later. But many OPC owners obviously got many many urgent and last minute emergency that they must drive the OPC first. So gov once again very caring, implement the electronic licence and give you two days to remember to buy the licence. No you are asking what if the forget to buy the licence, since there is the tendency to forget. Now what should the gov do next? This is the very reason I am not comfortable with the revised OPC, I really do not understand why they make it so simple for the OPC - drive first, pay later. What if they forget to pay? ↡ Advertisement
