Fivegear Clutched December 5, 2010 Share December 5, 2010 Hi bros, My windscreen got hit by pebble. Now there is a 10 cent size hairline crack. From inside can't feel it but outside can. Can repair really fix it back or have to change whole windscreen? Of cos I will prefer to just repair it. If can repair, can pls recommend which workshop. How much does it cost? Btw, how is it repaired? Thanks in advance. ↡ Advertisement

themagi Neutral Newbie December 5, 2010 Share December 5, 2010 If the insurance covers FOC and there is no prior claim, claim insurance. If there is $100 excess, then try the repair.
Kiadaw 6th Gear December 5, 2010 Share December 5, 2010 I claim from insurance. Pay excess 100 buck, plus another 130 bucks for thermal wrap. Not to mention need to take leave. Damn the Singapore weather, no choice have to to do tinting, I actually prefer all my windows to be crystal clear.
