PPTV slows down PC?

Hi people.

Anyone else using PPTV? Have enjoyed being able to watch the movies. But my PC seems to have slowed considerably, suspect its due to the PPTV.

Any ideas?

Use QVOD instead.

After you use for a few more months, prepare for crawling speeds and frequent d/c from internet. As for the solution, you need to check your firewall and see the number of ports opened/utilised by PPS. If it is a lot, slowly clear the ports down to 0. Your internet will improve slightly.

Did you install any excelerator ? If so try the config...and clear the complete viedos "count". I have noticed that for latest movie or drama last around 90min or so you shouldn't be experience any lag at all. It will Lag only for those Taiwan hokkien serials. 1hr 45min per espisode.

I didnt install any accelerator that I remember.. does that mean I can rule out video "counts"? Cos i got no idea what that is.

AND HOW THE HECK DO YOU DO THIS?! PLEASE TELL ME I'VE BEEN SUFFERING LAG FROM PPTV FOR MORE THAN 1 YEAR AND NOW THERE'S A SOLUTION THANKS G0D

 

Which firewall do you mean? the firewall set on your computer already? or the other firewalls, like norton etc

 

if it's the firewall that's alrdy set on my pc, how would i open this "port blah blah blah" thing? please help me!!

IF i remove PPTV from ALL my computers (i have 3 computers) would i have a fast internet again? i mean....all my computers has it but, even if i just turn 1 computer on and i DO NOT use PPTV my internet is still terrible

 

If i uninstall pptv will my internet be fast again? or do i have to go to this "port" thing and remove the PPTV stuff

Dude i found the reason why you lag, i have the same problem as you until i tried this

If you have 1+ computers online at the same time, make sure you do it ALL the other computers too

Sorry to dig up this old thread. Anyone can give tips how to become pptv member, cos

certain shows only member can watch. Possible please give step by step instruction because my

chinese totally zero.
