I kenna stop at the malaysia custom last week and they ask me to change my passport photo. This week i need to go malaysia again but have already send in my passport application request. Any bros here know will they pan chan and allow me to pass. Because it is only just less than a week and the new passport won't be here till earliest nect week.

I assume it the immigration not the custom you talking about. For my case my daughter was also likewise but I still going in (there were no record of the officer saying about yr photo). Few points to note 1) go to another windows for entry 2) bring along your receipt of proof of yr new passport application.

There will be some marking on the passport (previous officer made the marking) which Malaysia immigration officer will pick up. My wife kena. Rem to bring along proof of application of new passport.

 

Anyway, ICA really inefficient in issuance of passport as compared to Malaysia.

ya they wrote change photo in the passport itself. jus beside the malaysia chop. i applied online is it possible to just print out the application pending request and the date of application.

If worst comes to worst you can apply a one day pass at ICA which cost iirc $30.
