Osprey23 Turbocharged November 30, 2010 Share November 30, 2010 Mourinho: "I have never been beaten 5-0 before. But it's easy to take because we deserved it. We played very badly. They were fantastic" Guardiola: "Are we the best team in the world? No, that's too easy to say now. The time will judge this team later." Credit to both managers. One gracious in defeat and one being humble in victory.

Windchoco 1st Gear November 30, 2010 Share November 30, 2010 Think the result shows that attacking is still not JM's strength... He shld just stick to his forte - defending and parking jumbo jets...
Scion Turbocharged November 30, 2010 Share November 30, 2010 barca's midfield and offense are simply the best in the world... the passings, the positions, the runs, the one-twos.... if fantasy football is allowed, i'd love to watch Xavi-Iniesta-Messi of Barca (2008-10) against Zidane-Figo-Raul of RM (in the early 2000s)

Andylau1177 Neutral Newbie November 30, 2010 Share November 30, 2010 Wah 5-0! Just like SM score. I think RM tried too hard to play the offside trap and defence was totally torn by Barca's superb passing and fast players.
Tricor Neutral Newbie November 30, 2010 Author Share November 30, 2010 FCB played very well....perhaps one of their best The passing was excellent and accurate. RM played like s--t.....the worst performance. Can't even pass properly. So the worst team against the best performance team....of course hi 5 lah... The score sheet should be more.... JumpySpeedFiend 2nd Gear November 30, 2010 Share November 30, 2010 Worth noting that out of the 11 Barca players who took the field, 8 are from their academy (apart from Villa, Alves and Abidal). This is what exactly John Henry want to build in Liverpool. Getting the players from young, impart them the skills and mentality so that they form the core of the first team and signing a couple more stars to complete the team. The 2 persons who had laid that foundation at Barca, Borrell and Segura, are now with us. Long term, we can hope for our very own Inesta, Pique, Messi and Bojan coming through. Guardiola plays the first team the same way Borrell and Segura had coached them. Roy played differently and will never benefit from the young players from the Academy. That is another reason why I believe he will be gone very soon.
