Any recommend Workshop to recommend for repair for Merc Benz.

My car come out the logo at the Dash Board, saw from the instruction book, it mean that one of the Sensors is not working.

But when i went to my usual workshop, he told me it the A/C pipe is leaking and quote me $2k just to change the A/C pipe but my A/C is working fine, it either he does not have the equipement to test the Sensors or just trying to bluff me.

Asking if any forumers know of any work shop does does conti car or specilze in Merc Benz (Not too expensive preference)

Thank you

Can go BVO or J4C. They are well known for BMW and Merc as well as other conti cars. the service is top notch. Of course, do expect to pay more for better service as well.

Btw, you have to remember you are driving a Merc, not a Jap or Korean car. Sevicing the car will definitely come at a premium.

bro J4C is good but they are very specialised in BMW not merc.

Go to MBM bro price quite reasonable but most importantly they have the necessary expertise since they specialise in mercedes benz models.

1st floor Sin Ming Autocare

The issues can be very easily diagnosed with a SDS machine from a reliable workshop

cheers

MBM many supercars. All their mechanic attire look very smart.

Is their knife also very SMART?

I did mine at Riverview.

I order my stuff from stockist and they charge me labour for it. I got my 1x headlight and rear plastic panels changed for about $80. Learnt from MCF777 that you would save alot of money this way. Thanks bro.

Of course, if you ask them to order, it would cost $700 just for the lights. I'm surprised that those technicians are pretty good. See alot of Merc there on Saturdays at 8:30am even before the shop open.

Of course the cheaper way, would require for time to fix. eg Drive car to WS to diagnoise problem. Get parts which require to fix. Drive to stockist and order parts/deposit. Wait 1 week, drive car to stockist to get replacement parts, then finally drive to WS to get them fix. But total savings for me a few weeks back was close to a few hundred.

OK, will give MBM a try for my next servicing and change brake pad.

Will they pull a long face if i bring my own parts?

i had kicked out my past WS becos i always bring my own parts. they not happy (less profit)

PS : Im not looking for those super super cheap labour. Just be reasonable.

Currently, i went back to agent to service my car. but they took at least half a day or 1 full day

which make me car-less for that day

For servicing of Mercedes that is more than 5 years old , recommend to do it in JB. The workshop name is G-performance auto house located in permas jaya. You can google for more details. I bought my oil, parts and they charged me labour cost only. Look for ah Boon or Sharon. They specialized in Mercedes car.
